TPEP anti-corrosion steel pipe, 3PE outer hot-melt epoxy anti-corrosion steel pipe, is an upgraded product based on the outer single-layer polyethylene inner epoxy composite steel pipe. It is the most advanced anti-corrosion form of steel pipe for buried long-distance pipelines. It is the fourth generation of new anti-corrosion production line for large-diameter pipelines. The outer wall adopts the anti-corrosion layer of three-layer structure, which is made of epoxy resin at the bottom layer, adhesive at the middle layer and polyethylene at the outer layer by hot-melt winding process. The inner wall adopts the anti-corrosion method of hot-spraying epoxy powder. The powder is evenly coated on the surface of the pipe body after high-temperature heating and melting to form a steel-plastic alloy layer, referred to as TPEP steel pipe (T is the first letter of Three in English, PE refers to polyethylene, and EP refers to epoxy resin). The coating adhesion and coating thickness are greatly improved, and the ability to resist knocks and corrosion is enhanced. TPEP steel pipe fills the gap in the best corrosion protection of domestic steel pipes.

TPEP anti-corrosion technology (EP inside and 3PE outside) is a combination of thermosetting epoxy resin powder coating and polyethylene characteristics and processing technology, which cleverly combines the three-layer polyethylene coating and fusion-bonded epoxy powder coating technology, providing the best solution for the corrosion protection of buried steel pipes. The inner wall fusion-bonded epoxy resin powder (FBE) anti-corrosion solves the internal anti-corrosion problem of the pipeline. The pipeline has a small roughness, a smooth inner wall and good hydraulic performance. Through the analysis of design examples, it is concluded that compared with pipes of the same diameter, the pipeline loss of the inner wall fused epoxy coating can be reduced by more than 30%; when conveying the same flow rate, the pipe diameter can be reduced by one level, thereby reducing costs and energy consumption. It has become a main product of a large-diameter water pipeline widely used in the market.
